Pen and Acrlic on Watercolour Paper
30 x 15cm

Pete Ross grew up in one of the densest and most rapidly developing cities in the world. Captivated by the constant evolving city, Pete was drawn towards architecture and its relation with people during a time of change and political uncertainty as the island struggled to find its identity. His artwork has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions and art fairs in Hong Kong.

"While the slogans and commercials seeking wealth and prosperity take the forefront they distract from the buildings and the lives behind the facades. The often dilapidated structures and cramped living conditions become lost behind a sea of neon colour. Just as the sign directs our economy it also directs our eye away from the things that truly matter to our city."
